    A MOVING MINDSET... 22nd-28th

With the start of summer and summer solstice, it was lovely to go on a little adventure, it's been such a strange and sad couple of months that have made such a shift in my mindset for me... I don't even need to write how much we have all had to deal with over the last year. Yet alone dealing with covid and having covid myself pretty bad. So for me, it was a lovely time to just slow down, and not have to worry about other people around me and the little things like that little bit of messiness around me. Just go on an adventure and forget about everything at home. I take photographs of everything, and I mean something simple like the way a flower has fallen onto the ground. one of my family members looking cute near the trees. food, books, anything. but this isn't just a random post of the little things in life that have caught my eye (not saying there aren't going to be photos of flowers or my husband near a tree haha) this is a little photo album of the time I went to Inverness to look at future villages to move to!. i will include some of the names of the villages we went to and the places and then at the end, some random ones enjoy.. sweetie. <3

the photos above are Nairn beach and fort George..  this is where we went on the first day which was the 22nd of June. out of the 12th places, we visited Nairn was at the top.  fun fact Charlie Chaplin used to visit Nairn every year for his holiday, and tbh I really don't blame him it's such a beautiful little town with all the shops you could ever need, food shops, hippy shops, museums, vape shops you name it its there!

On the second day, we went to a place in munlochy to visit the clootie well, which is a pagan healing place, where people will hag clootie pieces on trees to represent their and there bodies to represent their health problems and wish for healing themselves.. simply tie something to a tree and then find a running natural stream and drink from them or wash your face. I saw somebody wash their whole head in there lol.. its sort of like a healing pagan ritual. i loved the place it had such a lovely calm feeling there. and i even meditated for 5 mins before we headed back up to the car. after..

then on the 3rd day, we went to the place i have ALWAYS wanted to visit since being a little girl and that is loch ness! Yes, your girl went to loch ness. It's the most beautiful place i have ever been to in the world and the tales are true it is such a beautiful happy place where all your dreams come true, it's like Disney land in Scotland! lol well, it was to me. we had the most amazing fish and chips there, the place was stunning. i didn't find the loch ness monster unfortunately but I did bring back the most amazing little squishy loch ness monster teddy! if this is the place that you have always wanted to go to GO pack your bags it is amazing you will not be disappointed i promise!!

the 4th day was such another magical day we went to a fairy glen falls which was the prettiest waterfall i have ever been to! it had such a lovely walk quite a hike to get to the second waterfall but it was definitely worth the 1-hour hike up to the top...  there was also a lot of nature and little birdies hopping away! and obviously, there were fairy's there they were just hiding lol!

on the last day, we went to a couple more places that we wanted to visit too.. these places were worth the wait. Clava Cairns is a place where ancient remains were left of. this had a really sad feeling in some places but a happy and calm feeling in other places.  it really was a sad feeling. because of all the people who were buried there. the site is a least 4000 years old and was built in 2000BC..  the next place we went to was the botanical gardens this was so beautiful! made me sneeze a lot from all the live pollen but the things i saw there was aaaaamzig all the plant babies were sooo pretty and i adored that they had a cactus garden/greenhouse it was so hot in there i felt light-headed but the size of them was incredible I was so shocked and wish i could take them all home! <3

Randomn photo time!!
